What programming language do I need to know to develop applications used on andriod phones and IOS

Hi Fatoki Temiloluwa,
To build an Android app, you will need to learn Java, of course this isn't the only language available for Android development as there are new languages for Android popping up here and there, like Kotlin and dart (used by flutter devs), it's just that Java is the most widely recognized for now, althogh that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try out the new ones, infact, you should try those out too!

For iOS development, swift is the way to go! Now I don't know much about swift or iOS development but it's generally recognized as the language for iOS development

To build an Android app you need to learn Java first. If you think you are perfect in Java then you can turn to Kotlin.
