I'm new to SL...Plzz help

U can see from my profile that, I joined sl few mins ago...I activated my id but still I can't send messages...How long do I have to wait..?

You need to verify your email address before sending messages . Go to your email and click on the activation link send by Sololearn . Then you can send messages 🙃

If you have already activated your account , then wait few minutes . It can be because of your slow internet speed or Sololearn's server high traffic 🙃

Sololearn has recently added new features to messaging to help combat spam. Some links are no longer allowed in dm. New members will now need to complete requirements such as gaining experience and learning before being granted access to direct messages. Hopefully this will make our community even better. Thanks

edited: in the past in order to chat yes you had to activate your account but as bobbie has added there is a new feature which SoloLearn has added in order to address certain issues.
