Background-clip

Question

Я вот не пойму background-clip никак читаю в css курсе его и никак не пойму, обьясните пожалуйста что он делает поподробнее?

Change the setting a few times and notice where the padding, border... are in relation to the yellow background colour. background-clip will affect background-images too.
