Can I use Pascal to make an application or software?

I know to make Pascal programs that uses that Command prompt interface. but can I apply Pascal to make programs with graphical user interface?

Actually, that's what I miss in Python ;) You only press F9 (if I correctly remember Borland Pascal IDE) and you got yourself a compuled .exe :) And yes, both "DOS prompt" and any graphics worked ok, at least some 20 years ago, that is... :P

Try to take a look at Embarcadero Delphi Suite. I used it for a while (when it was Borland). If you use it on different OSs (not only on Windows) you should look at FireMonkey.

Delphi was the name. Basically Pascal with GUI library. I don't know if there is any version of the original out there, that can run on modern systems. As an alternative you can use free Pascal with an IDE like Lazarus, it has a graphical GUI designer.
