Why is their too many programming languages.

Why apps get made with java or kotlin
while its easy to code html, css and javascript why it is not used to make apps.

NOOB By my opinion,Java gives huge amount of functions and types of arguments to make program which you want by your imagination.......Whereas html,css and js are mainly developed to be used for web development......... And diff. programming languages give you the way you find easiest to carry out your task.....I hope this cleared your doubt👍👍👍
