Whats the difference between the levels in the profile and in the challenges history?

Sololearn is indicating different levels in the Profile and in in the challenges(after you take one theres a piechart). For me one indicates a Level 7 and level 1 (level 6 in c++ course).
Can you me please explain the difference?

I think that level in your profile is current level at this moment of time. But level on history of your challenges takes value at time of this challenge
