Is it true that, Python is not recommended in web dev ?

Hello Ducks. This week I asked my CS teacher, can we use Python in web dev, he said yes but he said it isn’t good/recommended, he also added “it is better to use Python in making softwares and so on... But if you use it in web devlopment is like you shot a gun in your legs”. So my question, what do you think about what he said and is it true ?

Python is not used in a Web browser. The language executed in browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer is JavaScript. Projects such as pyjs can compile from Python to JavaScript. However, most Python developers write their Web applications using a combination of Python and JavaScript.

I dislike Python for everything in general not just web development. But if it helps, Youtube and some other Google products claim to use Python in their back end.

For web dev with python u had a learn Django, which is great and powerful framework. I can't even explain it, try to search Django in google
