What programing language should I learn next?

Question

I mastered html a bit back and im starting to get into relitively more advanced css. Though this isn't really the path I want to take. I want to be able to make stuff, just sit down, code, and create. The problem with html and css is that its really just based around web development. I don't really want to do that. I want to create programs and maybe even games if I have time enough. Im kinda stuck. Ive been thinking about c# but I think I should probably go the python or java route. Any suggestions?
