Should I learn Kotlin?
Hey there đ!! I have learned java a few days ago.. and I was planning to gain skills but yesterday I learned about Kotlin.. So, I learned Java because of it's motto "Write once, run anywhere".. besides it has a strong security đȘđ and mainly for making applications for both Android and PC.. And I know python too.. I started to learn Kivy but since I have no PC đ», I left the course.. So, should I go on with java for making applications with strong security for any OS?? Oh.. one more question.. I learned that Microsoft uses javascript.. but for what?? Can I make applications or softwares with javascript too??

If you wanna do pure Android Development!! I mean non other than Android, kotlin is best and even it's official language of Android Declared by Google!! Most of companies are switching to kotlin and 70% app developer use kotlin. Kotlin is easy to learn !! Learning java give you more than kotlin I mean you can make many things using Java. Use can use Java's libraries. My suggestion is if you know Java then you can switch to kotlin. By JavaScript you can make many things, even it is one of the popular and most used language. Kotlin disadvantage is less resources for learning else all is well.
Conclusion - You can switch to kotlin [Even I love kotlin ] if you have knowledge of Java because kotlin has easy syntax and many more features you can use Java's libraries in kotlin and even kt is morden programming language . JavaScript is an amazing language try it đ , for more google it.
