Need help with VS code set up

Question

I’m using Visual Studio Code for the first time and i am having some problems while debugging the programs. I just downloaded and some says that i have to set up the VS code app.js and launch.json first but I don’t know how. I have searched on vs code website but still am really clueless. May i get some favour from u guys?

while you using vscode to access some features you need to install extension for it .
