How to handle concurrent request while using POST api ?

Question

I am developing a web application using Flask and SQLAlchemy. For inserting a new record I am using a POST api.
Suppose the post api for inserting a new record is called concurrently by 2 users, then the last one should finally reflect on the backend.
Does anyone here have an idea how to achieve this ? Any link to an article or blog will also be helpful.

what do you mean by "last one"?

could you give an example of how the records will look like before and after the concurrent requests?
