What qualities do I need to be a good programmer?

I think to be a programmer it takes more discipline than being just smart. So no matter what kind of programmer you are or how skilled you are, unless you are disciplined enough to set a time to code every day, you aren't good enough. Another quality a good programmer will have is not getting frustrated by challenged and failures/errors. On the other hand failures/errors must be enjoyed and must be a learning experience for a good programmer. The most important quality for a good programmer is to enjoy writing programs and solving problems.
