How do devs design iOS apps?

I am a complete beginner in iOS programming. I am learning from my college teacher who says that the only way to design iOS apps is to use drag and drop and it is very difficult to design using code like we do in Android using XML. So my question is do all the developers around the world use drag and drop to design iOS apps?

Actually most ios programmers dont use drag and drop they code in swift. It is a reletivly simple language. There is software that you can use drag and drop but almost all big apps use swift
