C++ for an engineer !

I'm studying mechanical engineering and also I like programming...!
But I'm not sure which language is more appropriate for me.
it's been a while I'm learning C++. Is it a right choice for me to work on C++ or to work on python?

If you want a job by learning programming ill recomend Java, java script, python and C++.
Java is very popular and used in many fields.
Java script is the best for web designing.
Python is getting very much popular and its very easy to learn.
C++ is for everything. Its a hard language but very powerful.
I recommend choose any one of these and learn everything there is to learn about it. If you are good at it there is nothing stopping you from getting a job.
