[SUGGESTION] Don't we need some code protection?
Most of the best programs made in code playground is being copied by others. People can easily copy others code and post it again. Thus the actual creator does not get enough respect or credit. SoloLearn should include the actual creator's name on the copied projects. Or just make another protected type which can not be copied. Viewers can only see the output of the project and if they want to see the code they will need to get creator's permission. Please post your thoughts about my proposal.

i agree with you.
But it cannot protect your code. they still can take screenshot of your code and write back to code playground and save it with their name.
I think you should post a basic code that you want to share. important code is keep private.
if you want to get feedback or help in debugging your code you can share your code. you can gain more knowledge and helping other.
it is the core philosophy of open source.

@agus mei
how do you take screenshot?

@Agus Mei Yes I heve introduced that too. I said nobody is able to see the code unless they got the permission from the creator.

I agree

@agus mei
Well taking screenshot requires to shake the phone or volume_up+power_button. In android programs it's easy to detect these things by functions like onSensorChange, etc. Sololearn can do these modifications

Sorry! But forgot to mention that those who agree with me need to like this question(not my replies) so that SoloLearn community can see it and implement it. Thank You.

Dude, there are so many code on website which are already open sourced. You can refer/re-use or understand the code and use it for your own. Of course, if you are creating algorithm or library yes the logic has IP and it is yours. But just for your some fragment code or parts, trust me, many people can find the solutions and do it by themselves.
// I oppose the proposal because many new comers need to learn and expand their knowledge. If the code has copyright, the new comers cannot use or study the code. SoloLearn is the learning platform, not the development world yet.

@Yhal Htet Aung I understand your concept. But they should at least introduce the actual creator's name! Thought most people doesn't understand it, SoloLearn should introduce the creator's name on the copied projects. There is no problem with this. Some talented people are not getting enough respect because of this lack. The copy cats are getting all the respects!!!

@Prabhakar Pandey Screenshots will not be a problem if bad viewers are not able to see the code. but actual viewers can request and get the permission to see the code also.
