How do I choose "best answer" in a pool of good answers? Best answers maybe bias.

What are the criteria to use in choosing the best answers? Sometimes, most upvoted answer may not be the best answer. Should I choose based on votes or personal decision?

Best answers have three criterias. 0. Did it solve your problem? 1. Was it easily understood? 2. Does it contain implicit/explicit cookies? 🍪

Choose the answer which helped you the most irrespective of upvotes on the answers.

Your personal decision. but i suggest you wait to give best answer until few days, just in case there are good answer later and help you to make a well informed decision.

Step 1 : Sort by Date. Step 2 : Choose the earliest answer which gives what you wanted in the answer.

That's a tough question to answer. It depends on the question you're asking. If it's a very broad question it'll be difficult to narrow down the best answer. If the question is a problem that you don't understand and need help, you should choose which answer is the correct one. Either way, there are lots of ways to consider why answer is better than another. On a case by case basis you can't really pick a one - size fits all kind of answer. There's no such thing. Hope it helps! Good luck

Base your best answer selection on whether it actually solved your initial problem + if you understood it
