Ethical hackers use their knowledge to secure and improve the technology of organizations. They provide an essential service to these organizations by looking for vulnerabilities that can lead to a security breach. An ethical hacker reports the identified vulnerabilities to the organization. Additionally, they provide remediation advice. In many cases, with the organization’s consent, the ethical hacker performs a re-test to ensure the vulnerabilities are fully resolved.  Source: Synopsys Happy coding!

saba Do you have the knowledge to secure a company like mesarthim mentioned? It's a yes or no answer to your question.

Not all ethical hacking is done for ethical reasons. Monetary gain is one motivating factor. Some companies even provide incentives or Bug Bounties. I’ve had the pleasure of disclosing a fair few bugs. Some very serious. Most were not from hunting, just observing behaviour. I’ve also had extensive experience in server/web forensics but wouldn’t consider myself an ethical hacker...so I wouldn’t paint yourself with that brush. Even these companies that provide bounties are sometimes unethical. One of the bugs I reported was regarding Wickr leaking expired messages....I provided all information, waited a few weeks and the bug was patched. When I chased up my report they denied the issue, even after issuing a patch!
