Here is how to select each box

If <!maindiv> is comment you forgot to add line <!-- maindiv -->
I suggest you to add border just to check sizes of each box, this will help you figure out how big your box is, in your code you set background red to all 4 block, and pink(on top of red), to one column(2 box)

Ipang look like comments but wrong syntax. Maybe?
PRIYANSHU GOYAL you need to select each box, if you wanna to have 4 diferent color,add id to each, and change background color
