I stuck at every lesson

Question

I ask this because i dont know if this is normal. I learn coding since january first 2022. And i learn java, is it normal that i stuck at every lesson? Maybe because of the short time i am learning or am i not that gifted. Iam at lesson 16 or 17 in java and really often need to look for the answer and then i understand it but i dont like it.

In contrast to what Kamil Hamid says, I don't recommend starting with a simpler language. I recommend that you keep trying, And asking for help when you need it instead of looking for the answer.
If you just copy and paste the answer, you will not have learned anything, make sure you can understand the lessons you pass and your answers.

Don't try to remember everything either, even the most advanced may need to consult the documentation.

Have you considered additional learning material online? It is always a good idea to use as many resources as possible, I think. I have seen people recommending tutorials from oracle, I believe... 🤔 Maybe someone will drop a few links here 😊

Thx everyone for the answers. I downloaded another app to compliment my achieved skills in sololearn. And thx for the playlist i think doing the steps 2-3 times in different aps, programms maybe videos will help to fully understand java. I cannot use a computer at the moment because of my financial status.

Try to install Java IDE on a computer and code in a computer instead of SoloLearn. Because computer program should be interactive, displaying output based on user input, but SoloLearn cannot allow this due to its limitation.

It is normal to not initially umderstand thimgs in coding, especially if ur new. U can always ask any ws here, and perhaps starting the whole concept with a simpler language would help (eg python)

It's based on practice and some time of learning when I was first learning code I was so confused and bore but after 20 days when some complex lessons come I am fallen love with coding it's being 6.month of coding but my most month are waste to learn multiple languages but end I found my most lovely language java and JavaScript and I am happy and now I am improveing and now I can also solve problems from Google search never give up just learn make learn make practice and after some months it's being you habit and you just making your dream project

I spent a couple years with Python before I tried learning another language. That language was Java. There were enough new concepts for me to learn with Java (which I'm still getting comfortable with) that I was glad I was going into it conversant with another programming language. I was just wondering recently how well I would have done had I started with Java instead of Python. Could I have persevered or would I have been overwhelmed and uncertain of my ability to tackle such a challenge? I'm not sure. If you're going to try a more technically challenging language than Python from the outset and keep misfiring with SoloLearn, I would recommend searching online for a book instead, and most certainly do not feel inadequate but resolve to persevere, confident that patient, continually applied effort will win the day.

Java is kinda hard and i would not recomend it for Beginners. It is also some what normal to get stuck for awhile.

If you start learning programming you 10% of journey already done alaways get the logic rather then syntax

According to my experience ,
You cannot learn a programming language for just a week and say oh it's hard , no
and learning too much at a time makes somebody end up understanding nothing of all .
So take your time and learn little little.

Thx your motivating a lot. To my backstory. I suffered a long time from a drug addiction and crimes. I even got in prison, i tried to find a passion i can go after vut nothing really bottheres me. I never thaught learning programm languages could be that thing. I just started cause everyone think i have a better understanding of maths. Just cause i could solve thinks like 112*134 in my head in some second. Which is nothing compared to real math geniuses. After a long time fighting with depression paranaioa and things like that, i started learning java at january first this year. And iam highly addicted not in a fun way i thought it would be, more in a "i have to solve on after another mindset". I even have to take breaks, because my brain let me feel it has a lot to remember. First time since years i really used it, and it makes me kinda happy and calm

I do python for beginners at the moment and it feels like a joke. Definitly a good Option if you Stuck, cause you learn a different language. And maybe can built up a abstract logical mindset on a way lower level, i rush threw python. But at do while loops in combination with other things from java, i feel like being arrogant in thinking i could rush it.
