Why is Sololearn bot challenging me advanced questions (lessons I didn't learn yet)?

So Sololearn challenged me with something advanced

The quiz questions are sampled from a pool of questions, probably to some degree with respect to previously solved questions for the both of you.

It doesn't look up which courses you did on sololearn and is not matched with particular lessons.

What would be the purpose of the quiz if it was that easy that you could always solve every question?

Sololearn probably samples the questions from the pool of questions that have the same difficulty as the ones you already solved and of the pool of the questions that are a little more difficult. And it does the same for the opponent. From the sampled set 5 are chosen for the challenge.

If you challenge users if lower levels, you'll find a tendency to get easier questions – because they are the scope of your opponent. If you challenge users of the same or superior skill level you are likely to get more difficult questions more often.
