Pls help me draw things with html and JavaScript

Question

I keep getting errors however I do it can someone just give me a code for a basic rectangle with html and JavaScript
That'd be very helpful my head hurts for 3 days trying to figure out my bugs

Rafin well I've had this problem many times and apparently it's due to the fact that the html content hasn't loaded before the js one is executed, so the fix i found to that is to put the js content right after the html content in the body tag using the script tag
