Run out of hearts

Question

Why does this website limit my learning by using hearts? I get 5 hearts to start learning and if I use them before getting enough points I have to wait 5 hours for them to refill.

I would like to keep learning but this stops me from learning.

Is there a way to get more hearts even if I do not have points to buy them.

It does so to get you to pay for pro. I don't think there is a way to shorten the wait time.

If it bothers you, go somewhere else to learn. At least, that is what i will do. I like sololearn but if they limit what i may learn on one day, it is of no use.
