I typed the svg sample codes (html course) on my pc. But only 2 codes showed up in my output. Animations didnt work at all. Why?

I copied exactly what was shown in the SVG exercises from the html course into a single ".html file" and ran it in a browser.

Only the green circle and the polyline thingy showed up.

Why would it work on sololearn but not when transcripted to a coding software?
If you've already completed the SVG and the animation sections of the html course with no doubts left, pls help.
(This is my first time working with SVG, pardon me if the answer is obvious 😅)
