how to set fixed value of image in order to get as input from user using javascript so user can only add fixed value's image..?

I didn't clearly get that "fixed value" part ...

By "fixed value" did you mean to limit the physical file size, or the image file dimension (width & height) of the file uploaded or what?

suppose we just want user to upload image ( below or equal size of 500px width and 500px height) if user tries to upload image above it then they should be denied...! hope you get it
