Hp vs microsoft

whose certification is better? i.e. will look better on cv/resume?

HP is more of a hardware company , Windows is software . Conclusion if the certificate is for
hardware = hp
software = Microsoft

Guess they are expensive. Do the one required by a company you're interested to work with. You also don't know which of the many certs available you'll need.
If they need you certified they'll probably send you to make the course.
