How to stop being lazy?

How to stop being lazy? I noticed behind myself that training and work began to be difficult because of laziness. It's easier for me to watch semes or news than to sit down to write code. How do you fight laziness? How to force yourself to study?

I don't want to pretend to be a life coach, just my personal opinion. Laziness is the result of a lack of motivation, and an excess of distraction. If you want to move forward and accomplish something, you must have clear goals in your head. What do you want to achieve in your life? Start with setting long term plans, maybe a comfortable home, family, working a good job, having a happy and healthy life. How to get there, set smaller goals such as learning a programming language. Then convert your plan to a daily routine. Write down your goals and look at the list every morning. If this doesn't give you enough motivation to do what you need to, then either the goals are wrong, or you have an attitude problem which I can't fix. The change must come from inside you, you must WANT to go forward. And specifically for learning, you need FOCUS. If you commit some time, like one hour or two for learning, make sure nothing else is distracting you. Turn off TV, mute notifications or even hide your phone. Concentrate.

This is probably better posted in your feed. My thoughts though (as uninformed and silly as they are): If you feel that you have to FORCE yourself to do anything, it's probably not something you want to do and you would be better off searching for the thing you never force yourself into.

Well for me it worked out to do stuff youre have a passion for. In my case it was Gamedevelopment. Forcing to learn some stuff is may not the best usecase at all. Ill learn coding for a long time now and have to say : get a project, define a goal and focus on acomplish your goal. Helps a lot. Sure gamedev can be a bit overwhelming but you can start off with a adavanced version of snake as example. Or you have a website that you use frequently and you have a idea for a feature or fixing a bug. Still try to do this for your own. Setting up goals that are reachable.. in case of games: complex spell or questsystems are fun tomplay but it took a long time and many trial&error to finished off… A other tipp is: finish your projects! Many defs didnt finishing there projects cause of stcuk at a problem or like said before the project is to complex. Take it easy but fullfeatured and finish this before take a next idea. Hopefully that help you a bit. Sorry for my terrible grammar 😕 english isnt my native lang. Cya

You could start with appreciating yours and others strengths or make use of opportunities around you until you find a purpose or something worth your time.
