Basic Terms

2.1 You must be 13 years or older to use this site.

2.2 You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your screen name.

2.3 You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

2.4 You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other SoloLearn users.

2.5 You may not use the SoloLearn service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.

2.6 You must not modify, adapt or hack SoloLearn or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated withSoloLearn.

2.7. You must not sell, lease, lend, convey, redistribute, or sublicense to any third party all or any portion of SoloLearn Content and Services.

2.7.1 You must not access SoloLearn’s private API by any other means other than the SoloLearn’s Android application or sololearn.com website.

2.8 You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

2.9 You must not, in the use of SoloLearn, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

2.10 Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your SoloLearn account.

Terms of Use

1. Subject

1.1 This Agreement binds You or the Company you represent (“You,” “Your”, or “User”) to the Terms of Use set forth herein in connection with your use of SoloLearn, Inc.’s (“Our”, “We”, “Company” or “SoloLearn”) software, services or other offerings on our site (collectively, our “Products and Services”). By using any of the company products or clicking on the "Signup" button, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you disagree with these Terms of Use or any part of these Terms of Use, you must not use our website or the Company’s Products and Services.

1.2 The Products include educational content that contains educational video materials and instructions, tutoring and other customized learning content.

1.3 The Products contain YouTube videos that have been used in accordance with YouTube’s Terms of Service and YouTube’s rules for Using the YouTube APIs to Build Monetizable Applications.

3.1 We reserve the right to modify or terminate the SoloLearn Service for any reason, without notice at any time.

3.2 We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via internet mail according to the preference expressed on your account. What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common sense and reasonable judgment.

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse Products and Service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3.4 We reserve the right to force forfeiture of any username that becomes inactive, violates trademark, or may mislead other users.

3.5 We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Use.

3.6 We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.

....Personal attacks or disparagement of other users or their content is not tolerated. Every community member should be respectful and considerate, and assume that other people are also trying to make SoloLearn a great development resource. This means respecting opposing or differing opinions, beliefs, and conclusions; making an effort to listen to and understand others with whom you may disagree; and encouraging others to also be welcoming and respectful.
If your content/post is not specifically on-topic, it can be deleted. There are two types of content deletions on SoloLearn:
Deletions made by the user who added the post. After adding a post, the original poster has a grace period during which he or she is permitted to delete the post.
Deletions made to questions by SoloLearn moderators, in case:
Content is created with the purpose of attracting spam content.
Posts that are incoherent or otherwise impossible to answer meaningfully, and would not be improved by straightforward edits.
Posts that focus on the promotion of a product or service.
Posts that include inappropriate language, content, or reference.
In the Q&A Discussions section, all other content, except for Q&A:
Content that is merely poorly composed or unclear should be improved or tagged for improvement, rather than removed.
If any member violates any of the above guidelines, the administrators and moderators reserve the right to remove the content. A notice will be sent to the posting member. Any continuous violation of these rules will result in a permanent ban of the particular member’s account. The administrators and moderators will apply appropriate measures, depending on the effects of the rules that have been violated.

SoloLearn is a community of coders of all ages who come together to learn; interact with each other; grow professionally and personally; and both provide help to and receive help from their peers. Mutual acceptance and respect are core SoloLearn values that have been nurtured by our community from day one. With that in mind, we ask all community members to follow these simple rules in order to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, creative, and appreciated.

SoloLearn's policies are based on two key principles:

Posts by SoloLearn community members should be programming-related and aimed at helping individual learners and community members improve their programming skills by creating a respectful resource base.
