You might be able to earn some profit with technical analysis of stock prices, but you can also lose on it. Unexpected events which cannot be predicted from past movements, can have a huge impact on the stock exchange. So this is an extremely risky way of earning money. And many people do this already so I really doubt that the benefit could be substantial. Unless you come up with a very innovative algorithm on your own (but in that case you would not be asking questions on this forum).
