Reset progress and re-learn in Sololearn

Question

I resetted the progress of C++ course for learning again. When I finished course, I found that my monthly earned xp went down(it became negative even I won some battles). Does my level(or current xp) affect xp for learning?

be careful when you reset the progress you lose xp from the challenges too....I did the same mistake and I lose 1500xp

Resetting the progress must probably take back all the xp you gained by learning the course, so that you cant abise the system by re-learning for xp

@Pixie I'm sorry if I misunderstood your answer but I was saying whether xp for Level 1 and Level 10 are different. It's true that when I reset progress, xp I earned goes away. But I finished the course again, and I found disappeared xp was bigger than earned xp.
