Why would you not use some sort of bot protection?

hello i recently joined sololearn and I simply logged in using my google account, others may login with their email and password and i did not see any form of captcha such as Googles Recaptcha, in my opinion this is very bad due to the fact that account cracking and/or the ability to steal random accounts gets so much easier!
Many evil minded programs exist and/or can be coded quite easily to steal online accounts if the particular login form has little to no protection against it :) ??

I think it's because SoloLearn Devs haven't gotten around to this yet. They are currently trying to fix the slew of bugs that the app has.
