I started with my website. It was simple stupid with horrible design and a free domain name but it got me started on a long term project.

I found my purpose.

I also tried starting with other things like Android app with Java, C++ applications, MySQL databases.

I almost quit everything.

But when started with my website, I had a purpose and that kept me learning to make it better everyday.
