It depends on many factors.
Do you want ads? Do you want to worry about how many mistakes you make in a lesson? Do you want to support other programmers, especially those who created the app?
PRO is worth it for these reasons... and maybe some others.

I understand this from your original post.
However, I don't know anything about what has happened and I can't take any action better than to say that the email is pretty much the only way to resolve the issue.

As for not responding, it's rare to get an immediate response from any email. Have some patience, as long as it hasn't been longer than the trial period, you have time. Give them at least a few days to reply.
