Why did sololearn change from a great learning app into a pile of advertisement pop ups?
Today in the middle of a challenge a useless pop up ad made me loose 30XPs to a lower learner because they was no way to close the ad and continue the challenge. I don't know if they were paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to include those ads but that was the worst decision from Sololearn and the best strategy it's rivals will use to terminate the good app. Forgive me Sololearn for giving you 1.0 rating cos I did it with anger in my face, such a wonderful learning app really deserves 5.0 from all.

Never had a single advertising pop up from SoloLearn. Are you sure these ads come from the SoloLearn app?

I would love it if Sololearn listens and stops those monstrous ads before it stops them & us because no one is using it.
Once this is done I will give they 5.0 rating back to them.
😍 Sololearn.

I started seeing them yesterday and ever since then the Ads keeps on coming again and again.
The main problem is that you CANNOT close it even if your finger is as tinny as a pencil skirt to accommodate the small X symbol, it opens even upon clicking on the cancel button.
Just wait you'll see it soon.

I feel spoiled that SoloLearn is ad-free. Nevertheless, I was a little disconcerted about what I read at:

(Google Translate from Armenian)
"- How lucrative is Sololearn-.
Our service is provided completely free. We are working model of social platforms like Facebook or Instagram. Now trying to collect millions of users, then apply the tools of profit."
What does "apply the tools of profit" mean once millions of users are "collected"?
If it means ads like Facebook, I guess we will gripe and then learn to live with them as the price we pay for this fantastic app! 😀

I don't have any ad yet, so I can't say anything.

That may be an issue with the OS. I found once, on a cheap tablet, the same issue on different apps that I was sure didn't push ads.
In the end I found out it was a "service" preinstalled by the manufacturer: probably it was the reason why the tablet was so cheap.
Anyway, look for the list of running services to disable it, or go in the developer options and limit the number of background processes.
Edit few months later: SL introduced ads in the app and is asking permission for in app purchases: what a shame...
Also my review dropped.

Suddenly there are political ads in the middle of the lessons!! This had no place in the learning experience!
