Disabling inbox (someday)?

Question

Was wondering if something like that could be implemented in the future? The private messaging option on here is the thing I personally couldn't care less about. Either people telling me what should I do on here with unwanted advice or wanting to chat. Even when I had "NO DM's" in my bio I had to decline the requests because obviously some people just don't care, kinda ruins the experience for someone who's here to learn some stuff on here from the app and not interested in some random stranger's opinion or talking. I miss that period after registration when you couldn't use the inbox at all lol

For the short term, change your profile picture to an animal or some guy. Should stop all unwanted inbox messages.

Slick Thanks, aware of this already though, just gets annoying you get to keep your profile pic and I have to pretend I'm a guy like I'm a 18th century female writer or something. You're right though unfortunately, lack of respect towards women (in general ofc, not just on here), I have this random cool pigeon that's going to impersonate me for a while xD

『⚡』Ƭʜᴜɴᴅᴇʀʙᴏʟᴛ『⚡』 It's not really harassment, just annoying cocky people, I used to have an account few years ago, now that was different, these mods are doing a much better job, at this point I'm just pissed off, excuse my French. Don't even get why a bunch of learning apps have to turn into social networks tbh we have those already.

Yes that sounds really frustrating, when we are here to learn without the distractions. It's unfortunate that some people don't respect boundaries.

I feel it'd be better if you could reach out to the SL team as well at [e-mail] and share your feedback about this . I hope they become aware of these kind of issues and come up with some solution .
