Is Scratch even good?
Usually, people see Scratch as a coding platform aimed for young children. However, Scratch is not what you think it is. From 3D raycasters to literal Minecraft! All of that is in a programing site for little kids...

It is more of a demonstration of the resourcefulness and creativity of the people that managed to do these projects in Scratch. They are probably well versed in other languages, and just used Scratch to flex their talent.
But yes, the fact that you can do it in Scratch is a good demonstration that it's functionally complete and robust.
Like Lego was intended for children, but grown-ups are having more fun with it...😁

Rihang Rai if you read about it
https://scratch.mit.edu/about
It was specifically designed for ages 8 to 16 but ...
Learning to code in java, csharp, or other notable languages goes way beyond drag and drop and gets into more serious programming depth.
True Scratch has performed greatly and produced some terrific products but ... it's not considered 🤔 a professional language for professional works.

Bob_Li looks like we built something from Scratch
* lincoln logs ( html )
* legos ( css )
* erector set ( javascript )
And 🤔 added a landing page image and or a screen savor with its own hosting on the etch-a-sketch ..
😆

In my opinion, Scratch was made for people who are beginners in coding, but can be used for much, much more. Your examples of the 3d raycasters and Minecraft in Scratch are made by users who have had lots of practice, and Griffpatch is an adult himself.
Idk if any of that makes sense, but that's how I see it.
