Must-Read Books for a First-Year AI Engineering Student?

Hi everyone! I'm currently in my first year of AI Engineering and want to build a strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and programming. Could you recommend some must-read books that would help me? Any book suggestions or learning resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
