[SOLVED] [SUGGESTION] Will a new @mention feature be appreciated?

Question

I have recently given solo learn a suggestion to add a @mention feature... the one like in discord maybe...
It would help people know that they're being mentioned in some other thread for their good work and get notifications whenever they are mentioned.

What are your views about this suggestion?

Yeah like.. notification from followers..
and a section of Recent mention wherein all mentions are visible..

Some say it will be abused for spam. While this is possible, I would still appreciate if @mention actually works here.

@Frost & @Tashi what if all the mentions from a single user are shown as one notification? it will possibly clear out the mess a bit...

edit: @jay mention the posts too as a sub_title kinda thingie

this would be fun. I wonder though if it could be used to annoy people. Maybe an option to turn notifications off for this feature would be an idea?
