What is your motivation to code or the thing that keeps you coding?
I have been curious as to how everyone motivates themselves to keep coding. No one word answers allowed!

The 1 word answer: 😜
Passion.
jk Oppositional disorder aside, programming for me has always been that 1 thing I always come back to without much effort. Despite me getting a completely unrelated job for years I always seem to end up back here. Even when I stopped messing with code for a while I couldn't help but play logical games, mess with blender (game engine, animations, camera tracking), played with unreal engine (mainly with kismet now called blueprint I think), and also on my free time I'd make mods for games.
☄️Long story short it's one of those things I gravitate towards and can't help it. And for anything else it takes motivation and willpower to stay at it! ☄️

My motivation is the drive to learn more and be the best I can be. Being a young student, I know that the more I learn now... the better my career will be in the future. I also am driven by wanting to impress my friends in any way possible. I do get burnt out, but I always come back eventually. The bad thing is, when I am burnt out I do not practice and have to start over from the beginning.

Because it is hell of fun. :)
It is fun to learn.
It is fun to create.
It is fun to solve problems.
It is fun to see your thoughts become reality.
I simply love it! :D

I am motivated by the cool an at times complex projects, that are developed with pragramming.
I want to make some thing cool as well, so I keep improving my skills.
