What are the most common misconceptions people have about software developers?

According to my experience so far, I think they assume that every software developer can also fix their computer. Or that we can hack everything. :D

Often when people hear that I'm learning programming they respond with something like...
"Oh that's great! Then you know how to get rid of the viruses on my computer!"
or
"Wow, can you look at my broken laptop? It won't turn on anymore."

They see me programming... Then suddenly, someones monitor turns off. Then he comes to me and says: "Stop hacking my pc and turn my monitor on again, and please make it run faster". My answer: "I'm not god, check if the monitor is plugged". It wasn't plugged 😡😡😡

People always ask you to solve their problem(s).

1. Dear my wifi isn't working. Can you please fix it.
2. Takshak, Son my laptop works for sometime then it turns off, Can you please take a look at it.
3. Takshak, Dude and Son, my phone hangs a lot can you resolve the issue.
4. Etc (just figure out the rest)

Older guys do this specially when they see you and the same age, they just keep your phone ringing and messengers full of messages.

I wanna say this, I kinda love doing this because it feels like, I'm superman to the problems. 😎😎
