your laptop should have core i3/i5/i7 good quality of speaker, good audio card, 4 minimum ram , if Windows then 64 bit

I'm getting one with 6 GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive storage. I could put in more RAM if I need to.

Edward 32GB is too much. With a 8Gb or 16Gb you can do all your stuff you want (32 GB is for projects in size of 300 tracks).
