Is java good for DBMS learners ....?

Depends on what work you gonna do?
Database can be used with many languages depends on the task they do.
And if you want to use DBMS in front end by self, go for any language (Mostly Java or PHP),
because these two are broadly used lnaguages.

it all depends. if you are using MySQL or ORACLE, then JAVA is the best choice

however, if you using Ms Access or Ms SQL Server then C# is your answer
