Is it possible to write a KI with an simple editor?

I want to write a KI with Phyton 3, but I dont know where I have to write this.

Theoretically you could write a simple AI with an editor, but I would not recommend that. At least use the editor which comes with IDLE.
You will probably need some modules from SciPy, so you can download Anaconda, which has a decent IDE in spyder.

Pls change KI (künstliche Intelligenz) to AI (artificial intelligence). This will maximize the chance to get an answer (I'm a py beginner, sry).
