I want become a mechanical engineer in the future and I was wondering if this app would help in me anyway with reaching that.

Probably, just a bit. Don't overestimate it. You will have to learn about physics and chemistry (material science) as well. And there's mathematics. Lots of mathematics! If you want to brush up or improve your math skills, have a look at https://www.khanacademy.org. I think that Salman Khan does an excellent job there.
