Which languages are required to become a web designer??

A web designer is supposed to design the interface(UI) while keeping in mind the experience(UX). These tasks,technically, don't require any knowledge of a web language but knowing HTML and CSS is handy. The most important tools ofweb designing are Sketch 3, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Html+Css is the minimum ^^ If you want to be more or less a web developer also, you will go to JS for scripting inside your pages, and why not any language for server side ;)

HTML CSS JS And don't forget to take this: Photoshop,Adobe Flash And Server side can be done with "JS" (without php,ruby,python)

@visph ..... I didn't use "must" word at all bro Why need photoshop? Absolutely No in this time. People often heir web designer which doesn't photostop much now And Soooo many css property that can do anything like as Photoshop

@Very Hard: Do you have some parts from Adobe(tm)? ;P Photoshop and Flash aren't necessary: - For editing/creating btmaps there's a wide choice of tools, from free to expensive, and the Gimp is a real serious free alternative ^^ - Flash can be very well replaced by last Html5 features ( including last Css3 developments and last JS APIs )...
