I can't even test whether num is prime!

I would so much like to learn c++, but it seems to be that everything I try seems to not be understood by my(superior)self.

take a look at my prime tester. What had helped me the most, besides practice, is looking at other people's code. Seriously, it helps a ton. Happy Coding!

Couple of tips:
1. Start really easy and try to make it harder gradually
2. Get your help troops out there. Search on Google or StackOverflow, because there are many things out there to help you out.
3. Don't give up!
