I am really interested in AI. Which programming language would be most suitable for making AI similar to siri or cortana.

For A.I programming you definately need R (or SQL, but R is better). The other one is up to you on what programming language you are specalized in. Doesnt have to be in Python if you dont want to.

Next, look on aritifcal neural networks, and also, good luck on the arithmetic side.

Python and R are mainly used in AI, Machine Learning etc. but you need to learn those very well and also learn to work with different libraries.
