I'd use it on text edit to view the source code (or whatever method of viewing the code would be) and show it to my professor's or any expert so they can create an anti-threat/removal of the malware. The malware was created for self-interest, there's no need for it anywhere.

I doubt you could use it against the NSA considering how the hack works was leaked from a NSA file. also Microsoft patched it in march for Windows XP, and up and windows server 2012 and up. people who where getting hit havent updated their os since before March. I think they also pushed more security updates this weekend.
