What is the best programming language to use when you are making a game?

I need help into figuring out what language to use for making a simple clicker game.

well every language has its own popularity so if u choose c++ then u can use unreal game engine and if java then LibGdx and if c# and javascript then Unity and u can create small games using Html Canvas and with Python PyGame

a small one using web languages (html, CSS,and some form of JS)

a large game using C++
