Is Kotlin going to set Java aside , at least regarding Android platform?

I dont think so, SCALA has been around for long but it didn't replace Java (SCALA also runs on Java Virtual Machine) So I think it would take years until Kotlin can create apps freely without Java, And Also Java is Android's main language so it is impossible

Nevermind I think it will, I just got word Kotlin is the official Android language now

Nevermind my Nevermind they will just add it to the Official Language of Android not actually set Java aside but its still possible
