Should i learn programming deeply to be an ethical hacker?

I want to become an hacker. People says you need programming basics? Is it true?

but you can use some prebuilded apps provided in linux console.

I am always curious about how things works, let it be electronics or computers, politics or society. If I know only basics of electronics, I may it not be able to invent something, but the point is I will always be able to open the cover of my DVD player, and look inside it, and figure how it works, or may be, yes, I will also be able to repair it.
What's more, If my DVD player becomes obsolete, then I will not throw it it off, but I will take out it's 40W audio amplifier to build an amazing computer sound system.

So, even if you not know the syntax of a programming language, then also the basics can get you to know how things works. And if you know how things works then you can make them work as you wish (and can even exploit it.)

Yes, not only programming basics actually. Also OS and networking, and type of exploits in different languages.
You very much need to know your stuff to be an ethical hacker, at least to avoid breaking systems by accident.
Good to educate yourself on what is legal or not too.

ethical hacking or white hat hacking is instructive hacking. this is like black hat hacking but the motto of this hacking is different. u can be an expert of ethical hacking ! keep practicing languages n do programming

yes as much as possible you need to be good in programming, databases, networking and operating system. because you need to know how something works so you can exploit it.
